Before becoming a freelance consultant and trainer, Ian was the CEO of a Council for Voluntary Service in London for 4.5 years, as well as sitting on the London CVS Network Steering Group for 3 years.

Prior to working for the CVS, Ian worked in mental health and training services for young people with learning disabilities and behavioural problems iin Richmond and Hackney.
